I have to say I did not see this one coming. The title of this post will only make sense at the end of one of my favorite dramas. Dig in...
Bridget is back with Soloman and she tells him that now she is sober and is missing chunks of her past. She wants to retrace their steps together to figure things out. He tells her the last time he picked her up was September 8th. That was the day that Shiv went missing. Why she doesn't put it together that Shiv is not dead, is beyond me. Must be the stripper mentality. He takes her to this address in Harlem which is apparently Shiv's secret office. There is a photo of them when they were little and a picture of Shiv and a little boy, assuming her son. Apparently Bridget had something to do with the death of him unbeknowest to us, so that's why she is eternally mad at her. Shiv is actually hiding in the closet. Bridget finds a set of keys taped to the drawer and then leaves there.
Next stop is a shooting range. She tries her key on the lockers but no avail. She then sees shooter of the month John DiLaurio and snaps a photo of this. She shows it to the driver and he says they are besties. She is confused yet again, leaves another message for Malcolm and then still does not piece together that they knew each other beforehand and plotted to have him meet Bridge at AA. HELLO?
Another stop to a coffee shop and there is a chess table with a locked drawer. She pries it open and finds wish notes. One from her sister saying she will never forgive her. She now says my sister lied to me. Well duh!
Meanwhile Shiv is back with Henry and they are sleeping together in lavish hotel rooms. She takes a shower and her video chat rings from Tyler. Henry answers and Tyler feels fooled again. She tells Tyler that was her brother (in a robe in bed, yeah ok) and he feels dumb and wants her back in Paris. Tyler then calls this company to audit Martin/Charles.
Olivia tries to blackmail Henry with a naked photo of him and Shiv. She wants his father in law's business. Henry sets up the meeting and he invests. When he tells Shiv she is upset that now he will end up losing money too.
Back at the huge photo of Shiv's house, Kathryn is back. They are with a lawyer (Legally Blonde sorority sis) and prepping Juliet on how she will do in court. She mistakes her testimony with the wrong arm. She goes into court and gives her statement and does brilliantly. She meets up with Tessa in the bathroom (I didn't realize until now that Tessa was the girl who was a bully in the first episodes) and Tessa says she lied, Mr. C did not rape her. Her friend was in the stalls and heard the whole thing and told Andrew not to pursue. Carpenter sues Andrew for defamation of character for millions. He refuses to sign, but after seeing how disheveled his daughter is he agrees.
Shiv goes in to steal the key and gets caught by Andrew. She acts super weird and actually ignores him as he comes in. Bridget then realizes the key is missing, but doesn't know who took it. She asks Soloman to be her bodyguard and says someone is trying to kill her.

1. Shiv takes Henry to a lock box where her key works. She has a recording in the box that we cannot hear but she shares with Henry and he is in awe. What is on that tape?
2. We see Juliet and Tessa in a hotel room eating chocolate and drinking. In walks Mr. Carpenter. OF COURSE. They are trying to replicate the movie wild things. One rich student and one poor one who pretend the teacher rapes them to get the money from the rich ones family. How unoriginal. Although, I did not see this one coming at all. How can Juliet be OK with spending all of her dad's money like this after he really loves her and so does Bridge? Ugg, disgusting. She doesn't even feel bad. And my question is, how do you approach your teacher and ask if he wants to commit a felony? Do you get extra credit for that?

I was completely shocked to find out what Juliet was up to. Obviously this is all going to blow up in her face...part of me wondered if she or Tessa was going to be assaulted in the hotel room...because who would believe them at this point? And now that we know a little more about Mr Carpenter's character, I don't see it as a huge stretch for him to go from extortion to date rape. Interested to see where they go with this.
