Wow. I think we are getting closer to finding out who A is and the title of this episode totally threw me. Let's begin...
Em is swimming again for the sharks and winning trophys. Girlfriend Maya has come to support her with a goofy sign and all. The winning party is to be held at Hannah's house and they are making blue star cookies. Maya is not happy about Emily's teammates. She tells Em that her mom found an old dried up joint and is going to send her back to True North. She asks Em to run away with her after Emily catches her with a new joint about to smoke it at the party. Emily says no and Maya goes into some crazy song and dance about not letting the team down. I don't like Maya at all. And earlier in the episode we see her buying something or talking to Jason DiLaurentis, but why?
Garrett has come to school to seize Caleb's laptop. Caleb is pretty sure that they will not be able to crack his password. He wants to try to remote in to delete any files that may be incriminating. He shows Hannah his password and explains that the letters are the places he has lived in order plus 1105 with an exclamation point. Hannah clueless as ever has no idea what those numbers mean. Unless they open the computer Caleb cannot remote in. They make him come down to the station to unlock it.
Meanwhile, the cops find a security camera photo of the girls dressed as candy stripers about to break into the file room at the hospital. They think that they are responsible for that missing page 5 of the autopsy. Detective Wilden is back on the case and cannot wait to hit on Hannah's mom. As they have Caleb there he calls Hannah and lets her know he is in a "Hot Spot" trying to get her to remote in. She is not smart enough but asks Spencer to come help her. She gets all the letters and then cannot remember the numbers. She realizes its the anniversary of the first time they did it and then types it in and she is in. She needs to find the folder of the planted information. It is called "HEFTY" it has all these school records in it which were planted. She clicks CTRL A to select all and delete. As the cops are about to open the same folder it starts to delete. They feel stupid and Hannah comes to see him and the smugly hug and kiss in front of Garrett.
Aria is going to meet Fitz to discuss this job offer he got. Her and Holden make plans but dad is now suspicious. He gets a note on his car from A telling him where his daughter will be for the night. How A knew this I have no idea. Must be someone at school right? Aria finds out that Holden has a heart condition that could kill him at any moment. She then learns that he has been sneaking off to do some martial arts fighting and is worried about him. She cancels on Ezra to watch Holden fight. Byron goes to the vegan cafe to catch Aria, but she is not there. Ezra walks by there, sees Byron and quickly ducks out. Sorry A, your plan was foiled. Byron calls Aria and asks to speak to Holden and low and behold he is with him and Byron feels at ease again.
The girls have finally met up with Vivian/Ali's friend. He tells them that he worked at a cell phone place and Vivian contacted him in order to find out a blocked number that was bothering her friend Alison. He says he will tell the girls about the number if they pay him $2000. Hannah quips that a car wash at school wont work, especially with Prudence Finn in a bikini top, bahaha. Spencer realizes she needs to get the money and needs to speak to her dad.
She speaks to Jason first and finds out that Jason found another hidden Ali box in the floorboards at his grandma's. It had a bunch of letters from his mom and Spencer's dad and about $15K in cash. He figures that Ali was blackmailing Mr. Hastings to keep quiet. Jason and Spence realize they fight like this because they are brother and sister and wired the same way. Spence speaks to her dad and learns that he had an affair and the DiLaurentis mom kept the baby and moved away then moved back right next door. One day he saw Jason playing and realized, but he never paid off Alison. Jason realizes it must of been his mother who paid her off. Spencer asks Jason for the $2000 so she can find out who killed Ali.
No Jenna, No Noel, no Mona. No real sign of A, except the letter to Byron. We end with Emily making a call to Maya and A watching from the window. Not sure what the motive is but cant freaking wait till next week, when maybe, just maybe we find out who A really is! From the previews, we can tell it's NOT Mona, since she gets an apple with a letter from A pinned to it. So then who is? My money is on Noel.
