Shannen Says: Season Finale

Shannon and Kurt are one week away from the wedding. Everything is going to plan, except a few things. Her altered dress has not come in along with the men's ties and her MIL dress. She finally steps back from the wedding planning process and relaxes. She gives Kurt his wedding gift, which is an airplane pilot's watch with a homing beacon. He then gives her a German Shepherd puppy. very cute!

They have their rehearsal dinner and he makes half a speech for her. They do their marriage license, the night before the wedding!

Wedding Day!!!

It's wedding day. We do a quick recap of the past episodes and how far we have come. I have to say I think she was awesome during her wedding. The whole vision really came together as well. She had the rustic tables, sans tablecloths, chair covers, open kitchen, tents with chandeliers, everyone wore black! She walked down the aisle over the pool. They both looked happy!

Her first dress was gorgeous. She changed into her second one for the mid reception. She danced with her uncle Ben and her mom walked her down the aisle. We even saw piper (Holly Marie Combs) and I think Steve! (Ian Ziering). She finally changed into her third dress which was sexy and low cut.

They had a great wedding and are going to South Africa for their honeymoon! I wish them the best of luck :)

Shannen Says: Prague & Wedding Dress Disaster

Two episodes back to back! Let's begin, shall we?

Prague:

Kurt comes home from Madrid and asks Shannen to go to Prague with him. She is too upset and says no, but then changes her mind. She is off to Prague with him. They have a great time, eating, drinking (why are you drinking warm piss?) and hanging out, until she has to go back home and wedding plan.

Wedding Dress Disaster:

Kurt is still in Prague, so Shannen sets up multiple wedding appointments. She meets with a women about slip covers for chairs, she meets with her florist and her uncle Ben (her mom's brother) comes to town. He agrees to do the father/daughter dance with her, so sweet, I cried. They go to check out some furniture for the wedding.

When Kurt gets home, Shannen is in the backyard in her wedding dress, crying into a glass of wine. Does anyone else notice how much wine she drinks?! She hates her dress, hates her second dress, hates it all. He lets her cut his hair to alleviate her tension. She will also have a third dress, that was her mother's to alter.

Her friends, take her out for a kidnapped drink. They then have a joint bridal shower with men and its lovely.

I really do like Shannen. She is tough, abrasive and brutally honest, but real. The Tori show is very light and fluffy and funny, and this show is just honest. Good job Shan!

Shannen Says: Cheese Tasting

I actually really like this show!

Shannen and Kurt are getting closer to their wedding. They go to a cheese shop to taste cheese and caviar. He drops a bomb on her that he is supposed to travel to Prague the week before their wedding. She gets upset but says its ok.

They are discussing food and doing a tasting with planner. Then he drops another bomb that before Prague he is supposed to go to Madrid. She is furious. And I would be too. I think that sometimes life does come first, she is right.

He is off to Madrid and she is upset. Yikes.

Shannen Says: Series Premiere & Episode 2

I wasn't going to recap this until I was sure that I would keep watching. It is about 90210 and Charmed alumni, Shannen Doherty. She is engaged to her soon to be third husband, living in their Malibu home, and about to get married. She is planning her wedding in 6 weeks time.

The first episode focuses on her and her life now. Her dad passed away, she plays a lot of tennis with her mom, she hires celebrity planner, David Tutera to help. She is super bitchy to her fiance and tells him he cant play football, that Sunday is family day. He plays and twists his knee and she laughs about it. She tells David she wants all black and anyone not wearing black needs to leave, immediately.

Second episode, more into the planning. She is scouting sites and wants to get married at her friend's ranch where she last felt her dad's presence through a gust of wind. They agree and Tutera is less than thrilled about the location. He thinks its horrible, but she says make it work. She is a bridezilla and a half! They agree to babysit their friend's baby and its a disaster. He cries the whole time and they cannot wait to get him out of there. She says when they have kids the girls can have his last name and the boys can have hers.

She is very real, although very bitchy. Her fiance is sweet and caring and just what she needs for her personality. First Tori, then soon Jenni and now Shannen. Anyone else hoping for a 90210 reality show alumni reunion?
