One Tree Hill: Series Finale

This is the end of an era. 9 seasons and it is now over. We start this 2 hour special by recapping the first 9 seasons. We go through the relationships, the drama, the heartbreak, the marriages, the friendships, the deaths, the kids, the first and last moments. Each of the main characters talk about how their characters have grown these past 9 years. Director Mark Schwann, made this originally about Cain and Abel on the basketball court. Such a perfect storyline about Lucas and Nathan, with the same father, different mothers, both for the love of basketball. All of it is also set to old classic literature, like Shakespeare and the likes. Then about Brooke Davis' evolution from party girl to serious mother. Hayley James being young and full of love and moving forward. We see Chase, Chris Keller and Mouth grow up before our eyes. What a beautiful first hour.

In the second 1.5 hours, we have the last episode. We start with a monologue by Nathan and the rest of the characters. We see his 17 year old self on the river court, we then see young cheerleader Brooke walking the halls and young Hayley cheering in the stands. The sound stage has Peyton's bedroom and even the names of boys on her closet door, which Julian put his own name in there as well. He shows her a prototype of her house as well. She says she wished that house deserved better and had a family who deserved to be there.

from cwtv.com

Julian and Brooke are celebrating the start of Bakerman with her parents. They open a store right across the street from Karen's cafe. Chris Keller is going to be the artist that goes on tour. Him and Chase have some weird scenes where they try and stalk the sisters Grimm twins. Mouth gets a check from Dan Scott's estate for 500,000. It says what you do matters. He thinks this is because he never exposed Nathan all those years ago. Hayley has a 100 anniversary concert at the Tric where she performs and so does Chris. Then we have Gavin DeGraw, the artist that started it all, perform new songs and of course his signature "I don't want Be". Quinn and Clay decide to adopt Logan into their family and go to the courthouse. Bevin, remember her?, she is the one behind the desk. While they are there, Logan calls her mom and she sparks something. She decides they should get married right then and there. Then they adopt Logan as their son and have this moment where even Bevin throws confetti at them. I am having the chills as I type about it, its so good. Hayley shows Jaime the spot on the roof where her and uncle Lucas wrote their dreams down. He writes that he wants to beat his dad's scoring record. He goes to practice at the river court and Nathan tells him that he can do anything, but for himself, not anybody else. You have come a long way Nathan Scott. Julian ends up buying Brooke Davis' house and finally gives it the famil it deserves. Mouth ends up donating the money to a scholarship fund called the EdwardsScott fund for kids who pursue college majors in sports, dedicated to Jimmy Edwards and Keith Scott. Nice touch Mouth!

from cwtv.com

We end with the Gavin DeGraw's song and all the main characters singing along at the chorus. The song also cuts over to everyone at Karen's cafe goofing around. We have all the kids there, the twins, Jaime, Logan and all the people. It is amazing. Then we cut to the last scene, I guess we fast forwarded a bit. All of the kids are older, Millie is pregnant with Mouth's baby and they are at the basketball game of the leading scorer, Jaime Scott. We then flashback one more time, to Nathan, Hayley and Brooke, to the first season shots of them. I got the chills through most of this song and most of the episode. I realized that I have watched this since the beginning and fell in love with the people and the music and the stories. This was a great part of my TV life and I am sad to see it over.

One Tree Hill: Burning Boat

I have to say that before the season finale, I was hoping for more oomph from this episode. It felt like more of a filler, when they really could do something wild and crazy for this. But I guess the writers are thinking how many more kidnappings, deaths, crazy things can we do, so lets be sweet and sappy. At least we saw all our favorite characters back again, except for Nathan and Jaime and that is because the writers told us he would appear minimally. We will start with the least interesting and end at the most. Let's begin, shall we?

Mouth/Milly: He is back down to his fighting weight. Milly gets him his own sports show and she needs to find a new co-anchor. They end up hiring this British girl Kiley because she is flirting with producer Jerry. She blanks out. In the end, they end up hiring Skills as her co-anchor. Great move guys!

from cwtv.com

Chase: He is looking over his life and thinking it stinks. Then the two tattooed interns tell hi how great it is and he realizes it too. Hayley tells him he can be the new owner of the bar, since Karen wants to sell, but he says how can he pay he is broke and she tells him she thought of a way. Interesting. (Besides the fact that he deletes his photos of Mia, Alex and Tara on his phone)

Hayley: She is going to be the announcer of the burning boat festival. She gives this great speech and keeps telling everyone how happy Nate is and how she is ok with him camping without her. She is just a true, kind spirit and this just shows us how far she has come. Especially when she reminisces about being there with Lucas and how she remembers loving Nathan way back when. She sets the boat on fire and that's about the extent of her.

from cwtv.com

Brooke/Julian: Julian is writing his script for the unkindness of ravens. He sets up his studio with the sets for the school hallway, Peyton's bedroom and the river court. He even writes himself in as Brooke's love. She gives him her diary to show him a bit more of her character as he pitches it to the producers and they love the character of Brooke. She tells her mom how upset she is about her dad and goes to see her at her hotel. She realizes she is not alone, but discovers her parents doing it. We voice over to young Brooke saying how they never sit and laugh together and she wish they did. We end with the family asking her to be a family business with Bakerman and all of them sitting quietly. We cant forget when Julian tells her father what a dick he was for telling his daughter she looked thick. Nice!

Clay/Quinn: It is their first sleepover with Logan. Clay sets up his room with planes and all of these toys. We find out that Logan is afraid of the ocean, that it will swallow him up. They try to get him to go in, but he refuses. He also wont sleep, so they set up a tent in the living room for all of them to sleep there as a family. I  have to say this was the best parts of the whole episode. Clay and Quinn are an amazing couple and with Logan its even better. He uses his Green Lantern's ring as his nightlight. He finally agrees to get into the ocean with Quinn and Clay shoots photos and gives him one. He puts it in the same frame as his mother. Clay proposes to Quinn and she says yes and they have no ring, but good thing Logan has his. It lights up the tent and yay they are finally engaged!!!! I hope it ends with their wedding in the 2 hour season finale, don't you?

What did you think of this episode? Were you hoping for more? Or was it sweet enough?

One Tree Hill: Danny Boy

I definitely kept my tissues close. We all saw the previews that Dan Scott would die this episode. I have to say, I loved how they did it. Read on, shall we?

Julian, Nathan and Dan are racing to the hospital in a stolen cop car. They speak over the PA system so that Brooke, who is still with the police from her Xavier attack, hears Julian Baker and books it to the hospital. Nathan keeps telling Dan to hold on DAD and they arrive at the hospital.

While there, we see the first time Hayley sees Nathan. I sat up in bed for this one. This was one of those TV moments were you grip the blanket and your heart stops and beats again. She gives him a hug ad all is right with the world again. Except the doc tells them that Dan has lost too much blood and he will be dead in a few short days. The Scott family spends time with Dan and is upset for hating him for so long.

Dan spends most of the episode flashing back through his life of the things he has done. Pushing Barb and Karen, having that creepy girl write murderer on his wall, shooting Keith, burning down his diner, burning the car dealership, being mean to Nathan, getting hit with a car. He has taken a licking and kept on kicking. Even Barb comes to visit and they joke with one another. He told her he was not going to let his son die. Jamie has special moments with Grandpa Dan too. He thinks he will get better and they will go camping, but he realizes he wont. He says he cant be strong any longer. There is a very cute scene with baby Lydia and Jaime and grandpa Dan. Hayley says she will always remember that he loved his grandchildren.

Meanwhile, Clay and Quinn are going to see Logan. Clay sees his in laws and apologizes for the last six years. I am sure all of us are thinking, how could he go 6 years without knowing he has a son? Well he admits that he is a father to Nathan and Nathan says he was kidnapped. I guess we have to decide which storyline tops the other. Clay goes to talk to Logan and they hug again. I think he will be able to bring him home now and Quinn is always embracing of this.

from cwtv.com

Brooke's dad is in town and spends some father/daughter time with her. She thinks it is too good to be true. Until she realizes that he wants to sell the Baker Man company. She feels used and tells him to get out. Julian decides he wants to produce Lucas' book, the unkindness of Ravens and make it into a TV show.

Dan's Death......

Nathan realizes he spent way too much time hating his dad. They have their last conversation, but it takes place at the River Court, which I thought was cute. They apologize for how they acted and Dan tells Nathan why he shot Keith. He was so jealous of him and felt like he had tried to kill him. He wanted him to get shot by Jimmy, but instead shot him himself. They hug and talk about how Nathan is a better man because of him. Stronger, better career, better dad, etc. They hug and say I love you and play basketball together. When that scene ends, Dan is gone.

from cwtv.com

Then we see Keith. Which I thought was a great touch. Keith shows him his family all around him. Nathan, Hayls, Jaime, Lydia and Barb. He really was loved. He saved Jaime and Nathan's life from evil kidnappers. Keith is there to tell him he forgives him. He says little brother and brings him back to the OTH hallway. They say they are both stuck there and start to build back their friendship and brotherhood. They hug and walk out. Dan says, I know where you are going big brother, but what about me. And he replies, you are my plus one.

The whole episode was dedicated to real life Dan Scott's mother. Very sweet and touching. I love how they did this afterlife thing, so we don't just see a dead body. It made me feel complete inside. Are we ready for this season to end? I have to say I need a few more twists to happen before I am completely satisfied.

One Tree Hill: Dan Finds Nathan

You know I was a bit weary on this one, since I really didn't think Nathan was supposed to live, but I guess so far I was wrong. Let's read on.....

Clay/Quinn: By far the most boring of the subplots. They are taking a drive to visit Sara's grave. Clay wants to face everything he left behind. He goes to talk to Sara and tells her how much he loves Quinn and missed Logan and misses her. He then begs her to help find Nathan. Quinn and him are happy as a clam. Once he proposes and they get Logan, they can be one big happy family.

Brooke: Brooke goes to her cafe and it has been trashed. She doesn't call the cops, but cleans it up herself. Tara comes to the door and Brooke blames her for the mess. She yells at her and gets pretty feisty, blaming Xavier for everything. She even finds an X carved into her counter top. The lights go out and she tries to fix it and we see Xavier lurking there. She goes to the parking garage (always a bad scene. And I thought she could park outside?) and he is there tormenting her. They fight and she escapes after jamming her fingers into his eyes. She hides under a car and he finds her. He has her pinned on the ground and wants to rape her and be a real man. He admits to murdering Quinten. Then Tara shows up with a tazer and tazes him to the ground. Then Brooke and Tara leave the scene and she is safe. Looks like Tara is not so bad after all.

from cwtv.com

Nathan/Dan/Julian/Chris: Dan shows Julian the drug dealer almost dead in his trunk of his car. In walks Chris Keller and he sees it too. They all three decide to go to the warehouse that Dan thinks Nathan is in and get him back. They go to shooting practice and are not so good. Dan has Julian clip the lock on the gate and then locks him out, since he has a family. Chris Keller is to make a distraction so that Dan can get Nathan out. He runs over the guard with the car and Dan disappears into the warehouse. He walks in SOOO bad ass with a rifle and shoots all the guards there. The main guy, Demetri, shoots Nathan in the hood. But its not Nathan, its the drug dealer. He has been had. Dan has Nathan and they are safe. Nathan can hardly walk, but says it is good to see his dad. Just then, Demetri is there and is about to shoot Nathan and Dan gets in the way. He gets shot and to the ground. Nathan takes a gun and shoots Demtri and he dies. Is he in the clear? No. The bad cop shows up and then Julian hits him over the head with a crowbar. They take Dan and leave, he is still barely breathing. We end with Hayley getting a phone call after she has been watching old videos of Nathan.

HOORAY. Did you like this episode? I did and I am scared to say this show is ending. Aren't you?

One Tree Hill: Xavier

Figuring the last 20 minutes would wake me right up, I watched this first, early into the night. I was a bit disappointed because there was no true kicker ending, but Haley James never disappoints. We will start with the least exciting subplots and work our way up. Read on, shall we?

Mouth/Skills: Skills wants Mouth to go running with him. They realize how out of shape he is. They head over to the cemetery where mouth sits with Jimmy's grave. He decides to throw out all of his take out menus and bad food in the fridge, realizing maybe he was eating out of sadness.

Chase/Chris: Chase is being hauled away by the police and they ask Chuck if he was protecting him from his father and he lies. Chris is concerned that Chase will not be able to go back to the air force, so he confronts Chuck and tells him to do the right thing. Chase gets all dressed up in his uniform and goes before the air force judges. Chuck comes in and tells them how he was just protecting him and tries to fight for him to still fly. Chase sheds some tears. Chuck tells him how he turned his dad in and how he is being arrested. Chase gets a discharge from the air force.

Clay/Quinn: Clay and Quinn are still reeling about this whole Logan thing. He goes to sit with the doc and asks why nobody told him for 6 years. I have to say I don't understand this either. Apparently once Sara died Clay blocked out anything that had to do with her, including his own son? They tried to tell him but he wouldn't listen so they granted custody to Sara's parents. Ok, but why does he live at the rehab center and not with his grandparents? Weird. Still a strange storyline. He decides he needs to tell Logan he is his dad and come what may. He asks Logan about his parents and he tells him that his mom went to heaven and his dad was so sad he had to leave. He imagines his dad like a superhero with a flying car and special powers. Clay finally tells Logan that he is his dad and he wants him to be a part of his life and asks if he would like that and Logan says NO and runs out. Wow. Well, did you think he would just be super happy?

from cwtv.com

Haley/Dan: Yes, no Nathan. I heard that Nathan would have little to no air time this season, so I am not surprised. Dan shows Haley the drug dealer that knows Demetri. She just wants to punch his lights out, but Dan tells her there has to be another way since he has a gun. They strap themselves and then come up with a plan. Haley dresses provocatively in leather and gets flirts with the guy at the bar. They talk about getting together and she gets him wasted. They leave together and the guy says "I am looking forward to hitting that" and Dan says I was thinking the same thing and punches the guys lights out. They take him back to the sound stage and tie him up. Haley even gets some punches in. Dan makes sure she leaves before he starts extracting answers out of him using a hot poker. Yikes. I wouldn't want to be that guy.

from cwtv.com

Brooke/Julian: Brooke goes to Xavier's parole officer and tells him she feels unsafe because he ate pie at her cafe. They see no reason to make him go away but he is not allowed to speak to her. She sees him working at the cafe across the street. She goes to confront Tara and begs her not to let him work there because he kidnapped a child and beat her. Tara says triple win. Then she tells her that she will not work across the street from him and Tara thinks that's 4x amazing. What a bitch. Why is she still even on this show? Brooke and Julian decide to follow him to see if he is does something illegal which will revoke his parole. They see him break into a house, call the cops and of course it is the house he is staying at but he forgot the keys. He then confronts her after work alone and tells her to be quiet with his finger on her mouth, yuck. He tells her to leave him alone or something will happen. She drives away and as they are sleeping, we see him with one of her babies. How did he get in the house? Will he hurt another baby? Oh no. Those poor babies, they have such a rough life already.

from cwtv.com

Next episode they go to find Nathan. Was he in Tree Hill the whole time? I thought he was like in Bosnia or something Eastern European? But I guess if the cop was there, it might be here? AHHH. 4 more episodes left!

One Tree Hill: Logan

Ok this episode blew my mind, literally. The last 20 minutes (which is always the best) made me scream and stand up in bed, when I thought it was going to help me go to sleep. Let's begin...

Nathan/Haley: Nathan is still missing. Dan is hot on his trail though. He sees a gang sign from the video and goes to first beat up an officer, then to meet an old prison friend. He remembers this guy has that symbol on his arm. He asks about him and the guy mentions names and says Demetri. Dan remembers that drug dealer from the park was talking to a Demetri on the phone. Grasping at straws here, but lets go with it. Him and Julian are going to track this guy down. Haley gets a call to come look at a body they found in the river. So the beginning scene of this season shows her at the morgue. Except this is not Nathan's body, TG! So she feels a bit better, but not much. Deb is back. She goes to see Haley after Haley causes a scene with the BAD cop (the one who knows where Nathan is) refuses to help her, but points to the detectives in the back. She tells Haley to trust Dan, and she listens. We end with her at this trailer asking what he knows.

from cwtv.com

Brooke/Julian: Brooke is still dealing with Xavier since he is out of prison. He is now showing up at her cafe and she is pissed. She kicks him out, but that is not enough. Now Julian steps in and tells him to stay away. He is going to get hurt and so is Brooke. Why doesn't she get a restraining order?

from cwtv.com

Skills/Lauren/David/Quinn: Ok this was random. Skills is back in town and sees Lauren pregnant. He assumes the baby is his, since they do that every once in a while. Quinn's ex husband David shows up and says he just wanted to check in on the family. We soon learn that he is dating Lauren and that is his baby. Weird side story, but ok, I will take it.

I saved the best two for last.....

Chase: Chase is still concerned that little Chuck is getting beat by dad. He goes to see them and he realizes something is wrong. The dad tells him to back off and Chase tells him that if this is what he thinks it is, he will be back for more. He searches to see what will happen if he assaults the dad for army's sake. He goes to see Chuck and hears screaming. Chuck runs out, badly beaten and he tells him to stay here. Ok, calm, cool, Stephen Colletti, no biggie, right? BANG. He gets the tire iron out of his trunk and goes inside to beat the ever loving shit out of Chuck's dad. We see him getting dragged away in a cop car with blood all over his face. OMG.

from cwtv.com

Clay: WOW. Ok ready for this? So he is in therapy talking about the death of Sarah. He talks about how she has the aneurysm and how he went to see something after, but he's been blocking it out. He runs out of the session and starts to remember. He was running into his son's room. His soon with the baby name LOGAN on the wall. OMG. This Logan, from rehab, is NOT an hallucination, it is his actual son. OMG. How could you have a baby and then block him out? He yells at the doc about not telling him sooner and the doc says he did. He was his doc when Sarah died, and him and Sarah's parents tried to tell him over and over again about Logan. Logan is to be released to clay and he must tell Quinn.

When this season is over, I am going to lose my mind. Way to go CW, for making this last season truly memorable!

One Tree Hill: Lucas Returns

We were all waiting for this day. The prodigal first season star returns, sans wife Peyton. I thought this episode was amazing. This season has been pretty slow and now it has been picking up. Let's see how this went down, shall we?

Chase/Chris: Woke up to a threesome, um foursome with the strippers from the night before. Chase hears he has to go back to the navy and Chuck is saddened. Chase realizes that something is not right at home as Chuck is covered in bruises. Does his dad beat him?

Clay/Quinn: Clay is still in rehab. We go deeper into his love and loss of Sarah. We find out that Clay feels responsible for Nathan gone missing. Yikes. Let's take a vote. Do we think that the kid Logan is a hallucination?

Brooke/Julian: The guy who beat her up in her store and killed Quentin is up for parole. Brooke goes to meet with him and realizes he has not changed. During his hearing she talks about how he should not get to be free. He gets free anyway and stalks her at the cafe. YIKES. Julian is basically just there for her and helping Dan with his Nathan search by showing him the video of Nathan and his surroundings. He sees a gang symbol on the all and possibly knows where he is. Maybe he is the dead body?

Hayley/Lucas: Lucas comes to town and is only spending his time in the airport. He is there to pick up Jaime and Lydia to take them back with him home. Hayley wants the kids away while she figures things out. Quinn is just there to support. Lucas looks horrible with his long hair (agree?) and keeps telling her that Nathan will come home. What I was really hoping for was him to go find Nathan. The cop from earlier comes to Hayley's door to help her out. He says he is not supposed to but wants to help. She shows him the stuffed elephant.

from cwtv.com

Nathan: He is still tied up but has been gnawing away at his chains. He finally gets free and knocks the guy out. I personally would have killed the guy, but he just hits him. STUPID. Then hits the other guy and tries to escape. We see the cop from earlier there too and he gives Nate a gun with a new clip of bullets and tells him to shoot. When Nate sees the guy he should've have killed he pulls the trigger, no bullets. Yikes. The cop was in on this. Why you ask? Because they wouldn't let him be a detective and this pays more. If you ask me, he could've been the hero here, but I think Nathan has to die. YIKES.

One Tree Hill: Who Has Nathan?

Nathan: We finally find out where Nathan has been. When he was in Europe he went off the beaten path and found some European basketball players to sign. Apparently the Russian mob was not happy about this and think it is stealing, so they kidnapped him and are supposed to kill him. The guys here are just henchmen of the other guys. Nathan somehow convinces them that if they let him go, he can pay them and be the boss. They end up sort of taking his advice and hold him ransom from the original killers for more money. Better luck next time Nate, I think you are dead at the end of this season.

from cwtv.com

Hayley/Dan/Julian: Hayley thinks Dan is behind all this after Nathan is officially noted missing. She even gets Jaime to hate his grandpa. She has no idea where he is and even though Lydia takes her first steps, she has nobody to share it with. Dan is determined to prove his innocence and find his son. He rents a trailer on Julian's lot and sets up shop to find Nathan. Julian offers to help him in return for helping him find himself. They hit some dead ends with people on Dan's enormous enemy list. But, later on Mouth (who has also been researching) finds out that after talking to Clay, Nathan may be involved with some shady basketball dealings. Will Dan go to Europe and save him? Let's hope so.

Chris/Chase/Tara/Brooke: Brooke's cafe is empty since she bashed Tara's. She asks Chris Keller to sing there to help her bring revenue in. He says no because he is Tara's boyfriend and Brooke spills the beans that Tara is also sleeping with Chase. Chris Keller plays and tons of people are there, until Tara comes in. He outs her for sleeping with his bestie, then kicks Chase in the shin, because he doesn't want to ruin his guitar hands. They make up, but Tara is the outsider here.

Clay/Quinn: Clay is still in therapy and making friends with little kid patient Logan, who is super adorable btw. After hearing that Nathan is missing, this triggers Clays episode sleep walking and Quinn finds him on the side of the road. He has no idea who she is. He has to check back in to get better.

Next week they bring back LUCAS!! Although, I do not like the new haircut I am very happy when any alums come back for the final season. That is the best part about these! There are NO rules.

One Tree Hill: Killing Moon

Sorry this took so long to recap. First my DVR erased it and then the CW did not let me watch it online until last night. I have to say this was the best episode so far this season. Let's dig in, shall we?

Hayley still has not heard from Nathan. She is trying to report him to the police, but they are no help. She goes to the airport but the people there wont help either. She finally gets the ticket woman to confirm that Nathan was on that flight. She sees the moose that he was supposed to give Lydia in the gutters. She automatically acuses Dan. She finds a lot of cash in his drawer and he tells her that he did start the fire at the diner, but only to get closer to her kids. End scene with her calling the cops saying there is a murderer in her house. I personally do not think Dan has anything to do with it, but Hayls is just out of answers.

Clay is at rehab and his doc tells him that he has a disorder that makes him go through episodes where he may not remember what he does or says. He tells him they need to talk about past issues that he may have put behind him, like the death of his first wife Sarah. Clay wants to leave rehab, but stays for Quinn. A cute part with Jaime thinking that Clay is a werewolf and putting a silver dollar to him. Clay makes friends with a little boy who lives there named Logan and they are going to fly model planes together.

Chase is still sleeping with Tara and Chuck sees this. He gives him a disaporval. Still not liking the Chase/Chuck/Kris Keller storyline. Chuck's dad is in town and he is a douchebag.

Julian is still feeling bad about the kids. He takes them to the hospital and the doctor tells him to take it easy. He gets a note on his car that says "fry your burgers not your kids". Brooke is furious. She gets a friend request plant from Tara that has cockeroaches in it. She sees the note has the same handwriting as Julian's note. She goes into Tara's diner and trashes the place. Watching Brooke trash that place is priceless. She is a true bitch and I would'nt mess with her! Julian starts a bar fight and gets the living shit kicked out of him. They both have anger management issues.

from cwtv.com

In the end we see Nathan with duct tape over his mouth. He has been kidnapped! But by whom? The previews tell me that the people who he stole basketball clients from. Unfortunately, I think he is going to die this season. Like I said, final seasons, anything can happen!

One Tree Hill: Who is Not Alex?

Ok readers, baby Davis is A-Ok. It seems that the window was broken by someone trying to get the baby out of the hot sun of Julian's car and just taken to the hospital as a precaution. Brooke is giving Julian hell for this and he is feeling really bad, as he should. He gets his window fixed, then smashes it again. He does have a talk with Hayley who reminds him that sometimes these things happen. Like when Jaime almost drowned in their pool.

Meanwhile, Chase wakes up with some girl in his bed. She tells him she wants to see him again and that they did it 10 times last night. She calls herself "Not Alex" and puts her number in his phone. After he tells Chris Keller about her, Not Alex walks in and we find out she is Chris' girlfriend. OUCH. Yet, she still wants to be with Chase. He ends up kissing her again and I see a fight coming on. More on her later. Besides the fact that she is his real life girlfriend Chelsea Kane.

Clay is still buying drugs. So Quinn, thinks she is super tough and goes to threaten the drug dealer. Bad move sweetie. He pulls a gun on her and Clay gets them out of it. He tells her to back off. Dan overhears Quinn telling Hayls about this and goes to threaten the drug dealer himself. I wouldn't mess with murderer Dan Scott!

from ology.com

Speaking of murderer, the cafe across the street is donning a new banner saying that "Karen's Cafe hires murderers" um not cool. Cant they sue them for libel? Brooke and Hayley go to ask the waitress to take it down and find mouth and skillz having food there. They make them leave. Skills has a heart to heart with mouth about losing weight and he finally decides not to order the truffle butter entree and get a salad. Woo hoo. (Don't we all just miss him from Boy meets world as Minkus?)

In the end....

  • Clay checks himself into rehab
  • Brooke and Hayls try to take down their sign across the street and the owner of that cafe is NOT ALEX, or Tara. (I mean, cant we get one of her boyfriends to convince her to take it down?)

  • Nathan is missing. He was supposed to come home on a flight from Europe with a stuffed moose for Lydia. He never made it and we see the moose lying in the street. Was he kidnapped?
I actually think Nathan may be dead, since I have been reading spoilers even before the show came back. Remember, in final seasons, anything can happen. You just wait!

One Tree Hill: Baby Davis

I  have to say One Tree Hill is still slow, until the very end at least. Horrible, truly horrible. But let's get to that last.

Julian is trying to rent out his studio space still. He has the kids come over for a field trip, boring, boring, he rants about not get a job, boring, and the teacher takes them to the box factory. Btw, she is pregnant? Don't you miss her and Skills together?

Hayley's chef quit on her and opened a gourmet cafe across the street. She is stuck with nobody, and Chris Keller tries to cook, ends up screaming (actually funny) and almost burning it down. So Dan Scott to the rescue. He ends up cooking for them and Hayley is truly amazed. I mean he did work at a diner. Then when Jaime comes in and hugs him, some woman is appalled that Dan Scott "the murderer" works there, so Hayley tells her to leave. Go Hayley! She actually takes one for Dan. I know that he is a murderer, but aren't people allowed to atone for their sins and get better?

Chase is all broken up because Alex left him. Chris Keller assures him that he will move on and takes him to a strip club. Boring, boring. They drink, have strippers and end up bonding.

Meanwhile, Brooke is supposed to go golfing with her dad and she ends up just schmoozing potential investors or Baker Man. They decide to invest and she is happy, but wishes that her dad would spend more time with her especially after she just found out Victoria left for good.

Milly finally tells Mouth that he is FAT, fat, fat. She says this live on TV after he is convinced the dry cleaner is shrinking his shirts. He doesn't realize his weight gain is affecting his health and apparently his relationship. YAWN.

Only 2 big things here....

1. Quinn puts a tracker on Clay's phone and follows him to a shady drug deal. She takes photos for proof. She learns he never picked up his meds. She confronts him about the transaction and he straight up lies to her. She then shows him the photos and takes the drugs from his pocket. She screams that he has been lying and he tells her he has been addicted to pain meds ever since the shooting. Uh oh. Too bad, I love this couple. She is so gorgeous, when she had her robe and bra, who looks like that in real life? I wish I did!

2. Brooke thinks Davis is sick, so she asks Julian to drop Jude off at daycare. In the midst of this he gets a call that someone is interested in the space. He goes to take out money from the ATM and then buy a nice bottle of scotch. he gets a call from wifey asking if everything is ok. Uh oh. Once she says Jude was not at day care, my heart stopped. We focus in on Julian's car, where he had left the baby, with the window smashed in and the tow truck, police men and fire trucks arriving. Empty baby seat. Was he stolen or killed? G-d I don't hope for either!

Do you think the baby is OK? Would you ever forgive your hubby for that?

OTH: Second Episode

Brooke and Julian awake to Victoria taking care of the twins, putting out a full hot breakfast for them (coffee cake is amazing!) and letting them sleep in. But what is she up to. She is less than happy to find out that Brooke and daddy are going to do the Baker Man baby line. Brooke has a business meeting with daddy who is an hour late to find out he may have an investor. Victoria warns him not to break Brooke's heart and she walks away with his drink.

Nathan is home and is less than happy that Dan is there. He tells Hayls that he needs to go. Jaime loves some grandpa Dan so he doesn't want him to leave. Hayley tries to rationalize that although Dan saved Jaime, he killed Keith. After Nathan learns he has to go to Europe for a week, Dan is allowed to stay but must leave when Nathan returns.

Alex gets offered by Kris Keller to tour. She doesn't want to go, because her and Chase are so good. He even recruits Chuck to help move Alex into his apartment. Super sweet. But I have a feeling he is going to get burned.

Meanwhile, Quinn is upset with Clay that he wont see at therapist to possibly cure his sleepwalking problem. By the end, he realizes maybe he should go and cannot go away for work until this is solved. But why is he sleep walking? I hope it leads to something good!

Finally, we get to see Mouth and Milly. Apparently they made him pack on the pounds. She loves him too much to say anything, but knows she will inevitably have to. Do you think he is really fat or this is a costume? Thoughts?

Ehh. This episode is back to mediocre. The only thing I can look forward to is the fact this is a final season and when that happens, nothing holds true. Major characters can die and people don't find happy endings, I cannot wait!

One Tree Hill - Season Premiere

I have to say I am really happy and sad about this season. It is the last one. I wasn't an immediate fan, watching 3 seasons in until I bought the first 2 on DVD and caught up. It is such a great story about two brothers (Lucas and Nathan) with the same father, different mother who grew up in a town called Tree Hill, playing basketball. At first they hated each other and they grew to love one another and be best friends. There was tragedy, death, marriage, breaking up, birth of children, moving away, lying, even kidnapping, extortion, you name it, they had it. When we last left off with the gang, Brooke and Julian found out they were pregnant with twins. Hayley and Nathan just had a baby girl named Lydia (she named her after her dead mother), Quinn and Clay were together and happy, Chase was back with Alex, and Lucas and Peyton were not even mentioned. Grandpa Dan was working at a diner and was basically exiled. Brooke and Hayley reopened Karen's cafe.

Premiere - It starts with a disturbing montage of all things bad. There is a huge fire and Dan and Chris Keller (remember him?) are in the car together. Quinn and Clay are having a huge blowout. Hayley is standing over a dead body at the morgue and hysterically crying. Chase was in the back of a cop car and Julian was getting the stuffing beat out of him. Brooke was trashing a restaurant. I can only imagine this the present day and everything after this will be a rewind. Revenge style.

Nathan and Hayley seem to be having a long distance relationship, since he is traveling for work again. You have to love these two, they are always so sweet to one another. Hayley gets the sinking feeling she has someone watching them, lurking in the shadows. We find it to be Grandpa Dan, who lost his home in a fire and asks to stay with them in the spare bedroom. Jamie is happy about this, who doesn't love Jamie Scott? And Dan is holding baby Lydia as Nathan comes home from work and is less than pleased. Doesn't Dan get any credit for saving Jamie from Nanny Carrie? Meanwhile, Hayley is trying to find someone to manage red bedroom records (originally Peyton's place, which she dubbed after her red bedroom - original I know!) And that is where Chris Keller comes into play.

Chase and Alex are back in full swing and basically doing it all day. She starts singing and gets criticized that her song is crappy by Chris Keller and it makes her not interested in sex. Her and Chase are blah, even though we get to see an almost fully nude Stephen Colletti (Laguna Beach!), but I miss Mia, don't you?

Brooke and Julian are raising their adorable twins, one is named Davis, cute! But they are getting NO sleep. She has to drive them around all night in order to get them to fall asleep. Good thing her ex convict mother Victoria comes to see them. They have a baptism for them and the godparents are Hayley and her dad, whom we never met. He turns out to be Carl from Desperate Housewives, and Brooke is over the moon to see him again, but not Victoria. Who discloses that she may have been a lesbian in her prison stint. (Melrose place alum Daphne Zuniga, yay!) Her and Hayley are running the diner together and they both get super happy every time they walk in, someone says their name. Cute. Julian however is trying to rent a studio for movies and it seems less than successful.

Clay and Quinn are going through something else. He has been sleepwalking. But not your average to the fridge walk, he is making it all the way to the river courts. She takes him to get tested and even stays up all night to watch him. She eats popcorn, watches scary movies and even spills the popcorn all over him, haha. They are actually my favorite couple on the show lately, she is beautiful.

Mouth and Milly are MIA for this episode and if the rumors are true, there will be an appearance by Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) later this season before the end.

My thoughts are this: Brooke's business goes belly up, Julian makes a deal with a crook, Clay's sleepwalking has deeper meaning and the worst of them all, Nathan dies. That's my predictions for this season. How about you? Thoughts!
