Scandal: President's birthday

Olivia and her new senator boyfriend decide it is time to go public. They will arrive together at the President's party. Meanwhile, there is a case with a super rich man who divorces his wife of 40 years and neglects his son to marry his 26 year old girlfriend. They think he is crazy and want to commit him, especially after he shoots his son. They end up finding out the old man wants to live his life, since he worked the whole time and doesn't want his son to endure the same future.

James, Cyrus' husband, got his information from David Rosen. He goes to check up on the balloting scam. He finds all the machines accounted for except one. They all do not have memory cards either. He finds the last one in a school and the card. He plugs it in to find out the election has been rigged. But by who? Maybe his hubby. If you put your vote in, the ticket comes up as correct, but the card reader that tallies the votes comes up differently.

Meanwhile, they are getting ready for the president's bash. In the car, Melly tells Fitz she doesn't want to go in. He fights her on it and makes her feel bad and then gets out of the car, only to be shot. Did she know about it? Who shot him? Olivia is really upset.

Scandal: The Killing Game

A man dies in scene one after delivering a letter to Olivia. Huck determines it is the names of all his former assassin buddies. They call them all in for questioning. They all seem normal, but are all killers. She finds a Swiss bank account associated with the killings. We hear the doctor on the phone giving out a prescription with the same number and realize it was him who outed them. The blonde mother of three, shoots him in the head and they all clean up the mess and dispose of it.

Abby and David end up calling it quits, mostly due to Olivia. She has an ex of his pretend she was beat up which triggers Abby's memories of her husband beating her. She then admits to Olivia she was with him, but hey she already knew that.

Scandal: All Roads Lead to Fitz

David was offered his job back and Olivia finds out that Abby has been telling him things. She is not happy.

A senator, who lost to Fitz, killed a man who was raping his wife. We find out that his wife and then man were having an affair. The senator thought he was raping him so shot him, but we find out later that he actually knew about the affair. Very messed up.

Huck goes on a date and has a good time. He cannot help his killing habit though.

Scandal: The Plot

Abby and David are still in bed together. He is trying to find out information about Olivia, but ends up having feelings for her. She finds out and they talk about it and she even listens to his theories about Lindsey and how far back this goes.

A college student goes missing and Olivia is on the case. Unfortunately they find her dead body. Even after all the negative PR about her being a blogger and a slut, they find out the guy who did it. Huck cannot control himself and he ends up killing this guy. Nelly steps in acting like shes a mother and she sympathizes.

Olivia is supposed to meet Cyrus, but ends up meeting with the President. She explains things need to end between them.

In the end, we see the judge who dismissed Lindsey's case getting chemo. She is at a meeting with Mellie, Cyrus, the judge, an oil tycoon and Olivia. They are all in on this Lindsey/Quinn case and we need to know why!

Scandal: The Fed is Watching You

A man named Artie who works for NSA comes to Olivia in a scary garage and needs her help. Apparently there is a device that monitors everything. They need to get the device and keep Artie safe. Little did they know that he was trying to copy the program for himself. He kills his coworker as well and gets free, but not for long.

The President is jealous of Olivia talking to her ex-boyfriend. He summons her to come to a hunting trip and they kiss. She tells him that she is NOT his property and she is right. Nelly is keen to this and tells him that if he sees her again she will make his life miserable, and I believe her.

Quinn is getting tortured by Abby and she taunts her and calls her Lindsay. She finally stands up for herself. Abby is so blown away, she sleeps with David. Who btw is still trying to figure everything out on his board at home.

Scandal: Reverend

The reverend went missing and when they went to find him dead with his mistress. Apparently they also had a child together. The mistress wanted 6 mil to keep quiet. They finally agreed but then she wanted more. She wanted to be a part of the funeral. Liv quickly compared herself to this mistress as her and the president have intimate conversations all day. She finally got the mistress at the funeral and realized she needs the president to let her go.

Quinn went back home to see her dad. She quickly learned that her old life is dead and she needs to live her new one. Why is she the scapegoat here? So much more that we cannot possibly understand apparently. But what? I am always so lost.

Scandal: Season Premiere

Not the hugest Scandal fan, but hubs likes it, so we watch. When we last left off, Quinn was in trouble. Liv and the president still loved each other, nothing crazy yet. Let's see how they all are now.

Mellie is carrying "America's baby", I had thought she had a miscarriage. They find out live on TV its a boy. She decides to chime in about his policy on war and he is furious. He calls Liv for advice, since she is his real sounding board.

Quinn is really Lindsey Dwyer who is wanted for murder in another state. She swears she did not bomb these people and all seven who are dead. She got drugged and when she woke up had a new identity. We never know who gave it to her till the end, where we see Liv and pal giving her the new identity. But why? Liv also calls in a favor to the judge and she lets Quinn go.

Not sure where this is going, but stay tuned!

Scandal: Season Finale

Quinn walks in and sees boyfriend Gideon on the floor with a scissor sticking out of his neck. She pulls it out, which is so dumb. Doesn't she watch Grey's? He bleeds to death on the floor. She calls Olivia who brings her whole team to clean the scene and get her out of there as she is shaking. The most shocking thing is, she tells them that Quinn is not Quinn and they need to protect her.

The DA comes in and knows they cleaned the scene. He calls Gideon's phone and it is ringing in one of their pockets, busted. She admits what happened and he believes her, but she cleaned up all the evidence, so now there is nothing to arrest the criminal on.

At the white house, Billy resigns. He then tells the press that he had an affair with Amanda Tanner and she was carrying his baby then the president seduced her and she killed herself. What really happened was, they had this plan together to make it look like that and used Liv's sex tape to do so. President considers resigning and having a normal life and being with Olivia. I love this idea.

Then Olivia and Melly come up with a plan to keep him in office. He is upset, but it has to be done. We find out that the hit guy is going to kill Billy after the VP discredits him and that Cyrus is the one who put the hit on Amanda. Shocking!

Quinn gets fingerprinted and tested and she is not who she says she is, but who is she? Olivia tells her to tell before she does.

Scandal: Who Killed Amanda

This episode brought us back to the beginning, when Olivia was introduced to the president. She became his right hand man when he was only Governor Grant and running. He was running against current VP. Her person is command was Billy. So why not do all that it takes to get his boss elected?

President and his wife are not very cozy which is making his votes low. Olivia devises a plan to get them to love each other more. While up in votes, the women are not as sensitive to him. His wife pretends to have a miscarriage so that they get the sympathy vote. He asks the woman he is running against to give in and run as his VP, she accepts.

Meanwhile, he has his first affair with Olivia. Starts small with handholding on a bus and turns into a full out affair. Someone records it however and gets back to Billy.

Amanda....

She was Billy's girlfriend. She was pregnant with his child (13weeks) and pretended to have an affair with the president. They came up with this plan and used the tape of him and liv to make it look like him and Amanda. They wanted him to step down so that the VP could take over. Smart move, right? Wrong. Gideon has been hot on this trail and finds out. He confronts Billy and Billy bludgeons him with a scissors, killing him.

Two dead now. Olivia hears the tape and wonders who had it for 2 years.

Scandal: Amanda's Dead

Sorry this took so long, this is last week's episode! I am almost fully caught up on DVR after a week of being out of the game!

Huck finds out from a security tape that a guy was sent to kill Amanda. Her body is found in the ocean. They are ruling it out as a suicide, even though they all know she was murdered. Olivia thinks it was the president and then changes her mind to think it was Cyrus. By the conversation that goes on in the white house, I think it was his wife that put them up to it, but I don't know for sure.

A plane has gone down and crashed and burned. They think the pilot and everyone else were drinking. Turns on the pilot is a recovering addict and doesn't drink. One of the stewardesses got so drunk she didn't fly on the plane. She is there to set the record straight.

I still don't understand Quinn's role. She is into the reporter guy and she cries in his arms at the end, but what is her deal? We also introduce the VP which is played by Ellis Grey from another Shonda Rimes show.

Scandal: The Rape Case

I have to say that I watched this in two shifts. I fell asleep 30 minutes into the first. Which means to me, either I was super tired or this show is not that interesting. Let's begin, shall we?

Olivia and crew are defending a very rich boy accused of rape. She swears he didn't do it and tries to figure out why the girl would blame him. Money? He fails to show up to his first trial because he was busy sleeping with someone. She figures out that the jury already thinks he did it, since this girl Helen is like a saint. They do some more digging and find out that he didn't rape Helen, but her friend years ago. He covered it up by paying her and buying her a car. Then this girl killed herself. Her friend Helen just wants him to pay. After they rip him up in court, Olivia tells the mother to turn him in, which she does.

Quinn really wants to date the reporter. She promises him an exclusive quote from Amanda Tanner. After drinks with him, she is a mess. He ends up getting a one on one interview from the rich guy's mom and what happened instead.

Amanda Tanner, why is she still around? She wants a 15 minute sit down with the president and then she will drop it. She tells Liv in the end that she is pregnant with his baby. His wife invites Olivia to the ball and she shows up in a gorgeous white dress. The president dances with her and everybody can see they are in love. He says to meet in their spot and while she is on her way, Cyrus blocks her, tells her the meeting is cancelled and throws her out. He then tells the president, after an incriminating audio tape of him and Amanda doing it, that Liv was the one who cancelled. Yikes. What is his end game?

Scandal: DC Madam

Olivia is still representing Amanda, but she is still in bed after committed suicide. Quinn is going to watch her but runs into a reporter there who runs a story about her trying to commit suicide and blaming it on the president. They to go her house, after she leaves the hosptial and tell her they are representing her. She is weary but accepts. She did have that affair and Olivia knows her pain.

The new client is DC's madam. She asks the crew to get all of her photo albums, because in the back is where she stashed her client list. They pull up all the photos of the John's, including a member of their own team and see that one of the guys Patrick Keating, is the next nominee for the supreme court. She tries to warn the President, but she is off the clearance list. The VP lets her in anyway past the guard.

She tells them the story and tries to figure out who Stacy is. She tells Keating and his wife about the prostitute and neither flinch. He denies it. She does more digging and we find out that the wife is the prostitute, Stacy. She took the job to make money and put him through law school. She never told him about it. She gets clearance back into the white house and Cyrus, tries to keep them apart.

Nothing too exciting, but I guess we will keep watching.

Scandal: Season Premiere

Thought I would try a new show out, since all of my others will be on hiatus until summer begins. Let's see what we think!

Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), who used to work for the President, now does secret agent lawyer/detective work for her private clients. She has a crew that works with her. She just hired a new associate who seems a bit scared but honored to work with her. So we have the tech guy, the litigator (who will propose to his girlfriend), Abby (the redhead investigator) and Quinn, the new girl.

The scandal they are working on is a medal of honor winner and retired vet's girlfriend was murdered and he is the prime suspect. She believes he is innocent, since she always trusts her gut. She has 36 hours to figure out if he really did it. She finds out in the end that he did not do it, but he is a gay man and that is his alibi for that night. He refuses to come forward about it and is willing to go to jail instead. At the end, he comes forth and announces he is gay and is let go.

Meanwhile, the president asks to see her. There is a Monica Lewinsky scandal going on with his intern. (Played by Gilmore Girl's Paris!) and she tells her to back off, even though this girl says the dog was given to her. She tries to slit her wrists because of it. When Olivia hears that he called her "Sweet Baby" she knows he is lying. Apparently they had an affair as well, that ended because he was married and she moved on. She then takes Amanda as a client and the president feels threatened.
