Lucas is still missing and Caleb is on a mission to find him. Hannah lets the girls know that Lucas is the one who trashed Alison's memorial.
Maya and Em are hanging out again but Maya is being super shady. Some may jump to the conclusion that she is A. She is getting secret texts and phone calls but wont say from who. When they finally hang out together, Maya admits she was seeing someone else while in rehab. I guess that someone else is still hanging around. They agree not to keep things from one another anymore. Don't you think Em should tell her about that girl from swim class or Samara, her semi-girlfriend?
Holden asks Aria on a real date and she is flummoxed. He is all polite about it. They go to the ballet (where Aria and Ezra were supposed to go) so that she can run into Ezra. Holden brings her a bag of gummy bears to reminisce on old times together. I have to say that Lucy Hale looks AMAZING here. Ezra gets out of the cab, spots her and they lock eyes. Only to be broken by another fellow teacher who takes Ezra's attention. After the show is over, Aria finds out that Mr. Fitz left 10 mins in claiming illness. Holden realized he was just a cover up, but told her that maybe they could work something out.
Meanwhile, Spencer finds a bunch of pre-paid phones in her lake house attic. Apparently, A had been setting up shop there. She finds a receipt for some place called Smitty's downtown and takes the train there to investigate. Even though Smittys is 10 blocks from sister Melissa's condo, Spencer follows a blind girl and her dog into a school for the blind where Jenna was a student. She tries to sneak a peak at records but is denied. Instead she meets a nice blind boy who tells the tales of the magnificent Jenna and how she helped him out of everything. She steals the log in book and leaves.
She shows the girls and sees that the night of Ali's disappearance, Garrett had signed out Jenna. Jenna swears she was nowhere in site, but from previous episodes we see that him and Jenna did kill Ali. That much is true, but who the heck is A? A is too busy planting swamp water in Hannah's BPA free container and filling up sinks to overflow with toy rowboats in it.
Hannah has some thing at school where they take her homecoming queen picture down. Apparently tiaras and orange jumpsuits don't mix. Mona is busy yammering away about how Noel is so distant from her even after she skinny dipped with him. Later Mona runs into Spencer in Philly train station after shopping her troubles away. (You are like smart smart she says)
Hannah is home alone and in walks an intruder. Looks to be Lucas, who had been missing all this time. He corners Hannah and tries to tell her what he meant to tell her on the boat until Caleb busts in. Apparently, all those episodes ago when he covered his computer screen was for off-track betting and he lost $4000 of Caleb's money on a bad bet. Really? That was the secret? There go ALL of my theories. He tries to pay him back after he sold some comic books. They are all mad at him and he leaves.
Ok so what now? I hope next week brings Jenna back and we get THAT much closer to the episode where we find out who A really is.
