Grimm: The Ogre

Grimm is back! This episode depicts the life of Ogres.

It starts off with a judge in his house getting tortured by a large beast, the ogre. He even tries to shoot him but to no avail, dies. Grimm never holds back on the gory scenes as a gavel is sticking through his mouth. EW.

Nick and Frank are called in and get a print off the gavel. It belongs to a man whom they search out and find dead with a hand missing. Ogre must have cut off the hand to use for prints. The man also had on an antique watch that was clearly pointing to an exact time. Nick takes the watch over to Monroe, seeing that he might be used for something he really does like antique watches.

Monroe discovers where this watch was purchased from and they go to find out. It had belonged to a woman that Hank had served on a trial with the same guy who the judge and the handless man did. Victim identified. The time and date on the watch match up to when this man was convicted.

Hank, being the next in line to die, is supposed to stay put. So Nick goes out to find the ogre. Up until now, I though that Nick had some Grimm super powers and all monsters, once they knew who he was backed off. Not this ogre, who basically almost killed Nick in his own home until Juliette threw boiling water at him. He had to be laid up in the hospital.

Fully knowing that Hank would fight for his honor, he called up Monroe to do some magical work for him. He instructed him to the trailer that his dead aunt left to get the gun with the bullets dipped in ogre gift. He was to shoot the ogre with this and it would kill him. Monroe did and killed the ogre from afar.

Police chief though that the gun was truly rare and his spidey sense of a Grimm is near kicked in. Not to sure what his purpose is here, but I am hoping we find out soon.
