Being a die hard fan of Beverly Hills, 90210 (I had the poster above my bed and all of the Barbie dolls) I had to watch this show from the first day it aired. It still is one of my top shows to date. This episode they are already graduated, at CU (of course - where else do 90210-ans go to college?) and are having the biggest party of the year.
The whole Silver and Navid issue is coming to a head. He needs to frame his uncle for the police so that he can get him out of his life. He has to lie to Silver in order to do this and she (dressed as a hot dog with mustard to his bun) finds out he has been lying and he tells her they cannot be together (only to earn his uncles' trust - well done Navid)
Adriana who is gorgeous and I love her smile handcuffs herself to Dixon who has a drug problem with ADHD medication. He uses it to keep on his game and keep DJing, because he dropped out of college in hopes of making it big. (Aunt Becky - Fullhouse and Rob Estes - Melrose Place alum would be proud). They have some chemistry brewing and I can see them getting together in future episodes.
Liam is offered to be a model and show his face to the public on Hollywood BLVD. He is not interested in the fame or what that can do to a man but decides he needs the money after he spent $25K on this beach bar, after working all summer on a ship, proposing to Annie, getting denied, sleeping with a supposed widow, and now what other options does he have?
Annie is dating a very wealthy man who reminds me of Pretty Woman and Richard Gere, although she is not a prostitute (but a companion is pretty much the same without the sex) and she is uncomfortable with the fancy dinners, the clothes, the gifts and the money (Hello Annie, every girls' dream!) But I can see that he is really sweet and she may be in for a long time romance, or he will become evil, could go either way.
Ivy and Raj may not be around much longer. He is dying of cancer and I think that they have taken him out of this episode to foreshadow that he wont be with us much longer and Ivy will be taking a liking to the new photographer guy Nick.
Naomi is in competition with Holly for head of Greek council and to throw the most awesome party that CU has ever seen. She works together with her to make the party magical, but then gets humiliated by Holly and finally booted from her position as head of Greek council for all of the violations that Holly suggested - nice trickery Holls.
The best part of the entire episode is when Naomi confesses her love with Austin and he views her confessional and they end up together. I truly believe they are such a better match then her and nerdy Max. She is really gorgeous!
A few thoughts. Where are Annie and Dixon's parents? Where are any parents for that matter? Do these kids live alone and on trust funds? Are we ever going to see Brenda, Donna, Kelly, David, Steve, any of those kids again? I truly miss them.
