Wow, this was a bit nutty, but such a good episode. I am excited to see when the two twins finally collide. Let's begin, shall we?
Shiv is at the doctor in Paris and he tells her a few things. First of all, there are two heartbeats. She is having twins. We automatically think Henry because of his two redhead boys we never see. Then he tells her the date of conception is off. So Henry may not be the father, but Andrew might. Nice crossover of the doctor, who did a small stint on Felicity as her boyfriend, David.
Andrew has a slasher movie with popcorn all set up for Bridge, since she confessed this is her favorite memory. He re proposes to her with a candy ring pop. This was actually so sweet to me. My hubby bought me a bunch of ring pops, until they got bigger and one was my engagement ring. Awww. Any who. She is super excited for a few reasons. One, she has never been married. Two, she loves candy, lol. She goes to try on dresses at Reem Acra and the lady who dressed the real Shiv, knows her fave designer, white roses and her hair down, but wants it up. A bit overwhelming for Bridge since she wants to come clean about who she is before she says sacred vows.
She gets a call from Malcolm, who has been doing some digging around the office. He has been trying to upload files off of Olivia's computer. Bridge even printed a copy of her calendar so Malcolm can follow her. Olivia catches on and fires Malcolm after an anonymous text saying there is a mole at Martin Charles. She gets another text later on saying Malcolm wasn't the mole, the mole is in Paris. Tyler, duh. He follows her to this small accounting office and he figures out that she must be trying to run a ponzi scheme. Especially since the thread on her computer shows this inflated income report.
Bridge heads over to Henry's to ask him why he cleaned out the office. Malcolm told her he found a receipt for the storage of the office. She is pretending to be Shiv, but he knows better since he is in on the whole thing. He makes up some lie about it being their office and tells her to leave. He tells Shiv about the marriage renewal and she has some flashback of her old life and how she told Andrew she didn't want kids. She decides she wants bridge to get the box. I am not sure what is in that box, but it must be the evidence to put Andrew away.
Andrew arranges this super cute bridal show at the apartment. I would die for this. She has dresses, flowers, cake tasting and she is not into any of it. She is too concerned with her true identity to be bothered with weddings! Andrew gets upset at her lack of enthusiasm. I would too. They even ask Juliet to be the maid of honor. She wasn't even included in the last wedding.
Meanwhile, Mr. C has been threatening Juliet. She calls in mommy dearest and says she wants to pull back the plan. She realizes that daddy may have to downsize the apartment to afford this pay off. Mommy says she will go and talk to Mr. C and make this stop. She goes over there and of course they make out and have sex. Of course she was not only the originator of this plan, but in it for the younger man. They decide they must run away before Juliet comes clean. They take out all the money and drive. They get as far as a motel.
The Kickers....
1. While Carpenter is in the shower, mommy dearest runs off with the cash. She leaves him with a looped video tape of the girls discussing the plan with him and a note. Saying he better leave her daughter alone or else and at the end of the note p.s. you are an idiot! Nice move!
2. We then see Catherine throw some cash at a guy in a van and yell that he was just supposed to rough her up not do all this
3. Bridge looks through the box and tells Andrew that Olivia must be running a ponzi scheme. Andrew looks at her and says, its not Olivia, its me. Uh oh. Looks like hes not such a great guy after all.
My real question is.. if Bridge marries Andrew, even posing as Shiv, is Bridget legally married to him? That would be great and a good twist, although he is already married to her twin sister!
