I know the title gives it away, but this blog is all about spoilers. I knew that one of the main people would be dying, but to think it would be the most lovable one, is shocking. Mary Alice voices over that one of us will end up dead on the lane. I am still hoping for her character to come back, not really ever dead.I knew it was coming and towards the last two minutes, my heart sunk. Read on, shall we? As we mourn the life of Mike Delfino....
Bree/Karen: Karen is dying and asks Bree if she can help kill her. She wants her to run her over or help her eat suicide pie. Bree convinces Karen to stick around and spend her last days with people she loves. That is, after eating two slices of suicide pie and basically driving herself to the emergency room. The letter that Orson sent is still on its way to the police station. The cop handling it knows the name Bree because of breaking Chuck's heart and goes to dig up a grave site. Uh oh ladies. Jig is up!
Gaby/Carlos: Carlos is out of rehab and Gaby buys him a new tie with his money (how sweet) to go back to work. You can tell he is struggling with this. She gets a call from his secretary saying she needs to come down there. She sees a line out the door of his office. He is giving everyone who lost their job for a deal he made a while back a check for $50K. Since the firm is stopping checks, he is writing them from his personal account. He tells her how he wants to do something meaningful with his life and how he doesn't want to go back to work. She tells him that he needs to suck it up, because she did while he was an alcoholic. They got a family cat and Juanita goes to get him and almost falls out the window until Carlos goes to get her. This shows them how important family is rather than money, but Gaby has a different idea.
Lynette/Tom: The funniest part of the whole episode. It is Penny's birthday party and she is going all out. Tom comes in with Penny's gift and a bottle of champagne for Lynette for being in labor for 22 hours with her. She thinks something is up. He tells her that he wants Jane to come to the party. She doesn't agree. The party is here and its great. Jane shows up and gives Penny a professional photographer as her gift. Except all the photos are of Jane and Penny, not Lynette. So she tries to get into each one. First she jumps on the trampoline with them, then just smiles next to them and finally eats the ice cream with them. Jane and her have a heated talk and she calls her some woman until Jane tells Lynette they are moving in together. She pulls Tom aside and asks about this. It has only been three months on a trial separation and they will be living together? I felt so bad for her. My heart sunk. She always gets the short end of the stick. She knows what comes next, engagement, marriage? Jane comes over the next day to apologize and almost chokes on a cheese puff. Lynette seriously considers not helping her. I thought for a minute she wouldn't, then she does.
Mike/Susan: They go to see a cop about the bookie and tell him that they are in danger. There is nothing he can do, since Mike didn't approach them the first time. She goes to see Renee and he tells her what a great man Mike is. They sit and chat on their front step about why she loves him and why Mike is so protective. His mom used to get beat by his dad. They are about to go inside and she tells him he still needs to fix the fence. Just then a car pulls up. My heart skips a beat because I know what is coming. They yell Delfino and he pushes Susan out of the way and gets shot in the chest. He does a whole flashback montage of their time together from the first meeting to the last. So sad. He is dead, truly dead. Because hey, this is the final season and they can kill people.
Next week, the death of Mike and the funeral and the questioning of Bree in the murder. Will she take the whole rap for everything? Will someone else die? Do you think Karen will? And do you think Mary Alice is still alive hiding out somewhere?
