Project Runway: Nanette Lepore Challenge

OK designers we are down to the final four. This challenge they need to create a wearable look from the fabrics of designer Nanette Lepore. I didn't really understand the whole concept at first (especially since I was so sleepy last night) but they get to design an outfit and the coster (what a cool job) at Nanette takes the cost of the outfit and what they have left per yard for fabric. Then they get to choose the fabric from Nanette's own version of Mood and design. Kenley of course takes nobody's advice except her own and her and Austin are on one side and Michael and Mondo on the other. Mondo tells them he doesn't sketch, he draws hearts and stars during that time that his vision just comes to him. Him and Kenley have a brawl about this and Mondo does his normal walk away.

Top Two.....

Austin Scarlett: He designs this raspberry color swing coat, which everyone thought was a dress. The fabric was a bit unsteamed and unpolished, but after learning it was a coat they forgive him. They actually really like it. He was scared since on his season this was the point he went home. He is safe this time around.

Mondo: The winner! He designs this super cool dress with like 5 different fabric swatches and frills at the end. He always comes up with something cute and funky and modern. He definitely is the most original one here. Good job Mondo!

Bottom Two....

Michael: Oh Michael. I think that his designs are beautiful, but he does keep repeating himself. He always does jersey and low cut and draping. Which is fine, but he needs to switch it up a bit. He did this gorgeous green jersey fabric, but cut it so low that the left boob of the model seemed to hang out. He covered the boob with a huge necklace and put a strap across the back neck to keep it up. He also cut it too low in the back. He was safe, however.

Kenely: Woo hoo. She designs this peacock feather fabric dress with tulip sleeves. She originally had this keyhole design which Nanette loved, but since she didn't listen to criticism, she didn't use it and loved her fabric so much. However, with something like that you must line up the seams perfectly. She didn't. She ended up getting the boot after they told her she doesn't listen to opinions. And even in her exit interview, she says she will always go with her own style. Some people never change!

Excited for next week and the final three? Do you think they all will go to fashion week? If not, do you think it will be Mondo and Austin to beat it out for the title? Hmmmm...
