Not funny. I have to say this episode was not funny. But let's continue, shall we?
We start off at the diner, of course. Max is concerned that Martha never called them. She steals Carolines phone just so she can get the first call. It plays the ringtone, Milkshake, which is actually funny. Sophie comes in and scares away a girl going to see Oleg, the girl leaves and claims she has a UTI anyways. They decide to go and bring cupcakes to Martha and make her try them again.
They go to bake and Caroline talks about her lucky pearl necklace. She says it makes her feel like Caroline Channing. Then it breaks into the cupcakes and Chestnut eats the batter and a pearl or two. She says it will be bad luck now and Max continues to use the batter. She drops the whole bowl all over her head and slips on the pearls. Uh oh.
They go to the Martha office and learn about the cupcake vending machine. They try to deface it but choose not to. They head up to the office and the lady behind the desk wont let them in. She finally agrees to give the cupcakes to her and takes a bite. She bites a pearl and breaks a tooth and bleeds. They leave and try to deface the machine and run away from a guard. Max gets hit by a car and bad luck it is.
The bright side? Han is implementing an electronic system so Earl lets them get money off the top as tips. They put that towards their business and have almost $900 now. She also gets an email from Martha, saying she has not forgotten about them.
