Max and Caroline have a cupcake tasting to see which is the best one. They have a meeting with a famed party planner. Once there, first they spot Johnny's art work and she realizes he has made it. Then their meeting gets delayed and the receptionist says that they can reschedule, but under his breath he says will never happen because she is Caroline channing. She even goes home and gets hate mail. One is not hate though, it is an invite to the MET gala. They should go, because Martha Stewart will be there. Max tries to cheer Caroline up and brings back her horse to live with them.
Sophie decides to take them shopping, Oleg is her new driver. They go and try on couture dresses. Max gets a very deep cut black one, where her boobs are not flattered and Caroline in a pink, bowfront one. Their car breaks down so they ride Chestnut to the party and let hot and hotter cops hold onto him while they go inside. They sneak in a tiny bacon maple cupcake in her jeweled cupcake purse. They cant get in, because she is Caroline Channing. The girl at the door keeps saying her name so loud. They sneak in through the service entrance as wait staff and change in the bathroom. While they are in there they meet Martha Stewart. They give her a cupcake and she thinks it rocks, she takes their business card.
Max runs into Johnny and he compliments her dress, says he is engaged and why she wasn't the one? Who knows. They only have a little less than a thousand dollars at the end of this season.
