The vamps are back! True Blood is about a southern girl Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) who has special powers. She is a fairy. She can make things happen with her mind. Her parents and grams died, so she has her brother Jason, who is a cop, and best friend Tara. She was in love with Bill Compton (real life husband Stephen Moyer) and then with Eric Northman (another vamp), but after everything she is single now. She has been protected by werewolf Alcine. When we last left off, Debbie, his crazy were girlfriend came to shoot her because of jealousy and Tara jumped in front of the bullet. Also, Bill and Eric were hiding out from the authority (the law of vamps)
We start in on Debbie shooting Sookie and Tara falling to the floor. Bill and Eric try to save her but get caught by the authority. Pam, Eric's disciple, comes looking for him and ends up turning Tara. Apparently she has to drink her blood and bury with her. Lafayette and Sook are praying for it to work.
Jason has been approached by the pastor he used to work for only to find he's a vamp and gay and loves Jason. Jessica comes in to save him. Jessica is in charge now that Bill is out of town and she is throwing keg parties at his house and getting down with frat boys. Jason is not too happy about this.
Meanwhile, Bill and Eric are in the trunk of the authorities car and they blow it up. The girl in the front is Eric's sister (but not his blood sister, but turned by the same maker), they have sex and then they all get high jacked again before they get a chance to run.
Sam who has been with shifter Luna is getting beat by the wolves that Alcine had killed the pack master. Alcine finally comes and admits he killed him to leave Sam alone. Then the wolves's mother and father eats his insides, so gross.
Russell is back from the dead and feeding. Also, Terry's cousin (Scott Foley!) is back anbd causing problems, woo hoo.
In the end, Sook and Lafayette are waiting for Tara to turn. Pam comes out of the ground but no Tara. She finally pops out and almost eats Sookie. End scene.
