How I Met Your Mother: Lobster

Ted/Lily/Marshal: Lily needs a babysitter for Marvin, so Ted offers to do it. It is all fine until he crawls and they miss it. He tries to video it, but it doesn't work. Then he makes a book of all Marvin's firsts including seeing Santa. They try to remind him that he just misses GNB and his first baby. We see a clip from the future where they take his baby to see Santa for the first time, haha.

Barney/Robyn: Robyn compares her love for Barney like lobster. She found out she was deathly allergic, so she wanted it all the time and ate it and blew up. She has been talking like a dumb cheerleader, fawning all over Barney. She finally realizes that she is doing this because of that, even after dressing up as Lara Croft. He ends up sleeping with her co-anchor and then inviting Patrice over for a date because they connected. He however invents Bro Bibs and it is a big success.

How I Met Your Mother: The Jury

This all centers around the court case between Marshall and Brad. He is telling a group of judges about it and making jokes, but they do not work. We go back to the court case where everyone is there. The whole jury is made up of women who are more interested in Brad's but than anything else. He gets a fake doctor to say that the effects of the lake are good for hair growth and something else. He then does a video of him swimming in the lake and the judge and jury love his body. Marshall shows a cute duck who was nursed back to health, but not until he makes Brad take off his shirt and reveal the disease chest from the lake does he discover that he wins the case. Problem is it is only $25,000 not million as he wanted. In the end, he tells the judge panel that is why he wants to be a judge.

The other characters talk about how bad ass they were. Lily was bad and made Scooter be bad with her. Ted was bad too. Robin was bad pop star in Canada and Barney was so bad that the bailiff knows him.

How I met Your Mother: Tramp Stamp

Barney/Robyn: Barney can no longer go to the lusty Leopard since Quinn still dances there. He is interviewing other clubs to see where he should go. Robyn takes over as his agent and almost signs him with the grandma strip club. He finally makes a Lebron speech and chooses one. Him and Robyn kiss at the end and it is great!

Marshall/Ted: Marshall and Ted talk about their stamps of approval. Marshall gives it on everything and Ted piggybacks about it. Marshall runs into old law school mate outside his office almost going to be a talking hot dog. He gets Brad an interview with his law firm and he messes the whole thing up. Little did we know that Brad wanted to get background info on a big case because he was hired with the opposing firm. Marshall is off the big case now. Even though we see some scenes with Ted telling Marshall he should stay with Lily.

How I met Your Mother: Splitsville

Robin, Barney & Nick - After a groin injury, Nick and Robin cannot have sex. During this time she realizes he is not that smart. Barney gives her a deadline to break it off with him or he will send out an invite to Patrice and Robin's BFF day. There is a place to take people to break up, called Splitsville, where you have dessert and end relationships. She takes him there and Barney breaks it off with him. He cries and meets two other girls who are brokenhearted and goes home with them. Barney tells her he loves her, but is kidding and they finally kiss. Thank g-d!

The rest: Marshall and Ted have a lame sideline with their basketball teams the T-squares and some lawyer group. Lily is also horny because they don't have time to have sex. So Ted offers to watch the baby and they get it on in the middle of the room.

How I met Your Mother: Breakups

Is everyone breaking up? Let's check out the main couples (Lilly and Marshall do NOT count, since they have actually become more in love and Marshall has become skinnier. They coach Ted through the whole episode as Marshall channels his inner goddess, Oprah wasn't built in a day!) Let's begin, shall we?

Barney: Meets a stray dog and adopts him and calls him BROVER, his new wingman. It works for a while, picking up chicks. He even helps Brover dis ugly dogs. He puts him in a mini suit. Robyn thinks something is wrong, she invites him to dinner and he brings the dog. He gets a call from the real owner that wants him back. He brings him back and his real name is "Mr Sprinkles", he however scores a drink with the owner. At the end, you see a cute clip of Barney helping Brover with a girl he got pregnant! Haha.

Robyn: Her boyfriend has a cooking show and has horrible lines. But Robyn seems too focused on Barney's problems to notice the nice dinner he made for her. Then she takes her focus onto Ted. Her boyfriend is getting fed up and I think they may be headed for splitsville, very soon.

Ted: The main focus here. He is talking about Victoria and how great they are. Marshall and Lily disagree, since they picked up on her talking about her wedding dress and dropping all these hints. He asks her what is wrong and she says something is holding her back. He realizes he has to marry her, since even though they just got back together, they were together for over a period of 6 years. He gets a ring, sets up her apartment with flowers and proposes. She accepts, but one caveat. He has to stop being friends with Robyn. This is Stella ALL over again!! He thinks about it, but in the end tells Victoria he cannot do that and Robyn is family. She cries and says, I hope you get her one day. Aww. Well, maybe they do end up together?

How I met Your Mother: Godparents Game

Lily and Marshall have deemed their friends not to bother them with  news less than an 8. They all sit down and go through their lives and decide nothing is important enough. Barney is sleeping around again, Ted and Victoria are talking about paying her father back for the wedding and Robyn is upset Nick got a moped not a real motorcycle.

They are trying to figure out who will take care of Marvin if they die. They fight about his mother, then her mother, then her father and think of his brother. They go to tell him the good news and he has left his wife and kids to be a beach bartender. Nix that. They think maybe their friends. They all try to compete by bringing big teddy bears and Barney singing bro songs to kids tunes.

Finally, they decide to have a game show out of it. Spin the wheel and answer questions to be the godparents. After some hilarity ensues, they tell them off saying they need to grow up and the days of closing down the bar are over. They leave and they realize they are wrong. They go to the bar and decide to hear all problems, 8 or less. Then they sign Marvin over to all three of them. Cute!

HIMYM: The Nannies

Lilly is going back to work and they need to find a nanny. They do not want to use her dad, even though he is staying with them, because he is not reliable. They interview this Mary Poppin's woman, but she is too expensive. They finally find one they like so much, because she is also from Minnesota, Jorgansen's Organ's, Morgan's Organ's and they laugh. She says she will take the job but has one more interview. Little do we know, it is with Barney. He has been pretending to hire nannies. After she learns that Marshall and Lilly are friends with him, she splits and they are left with nobody. Barney offers the expensive nanny to them as an apology (and a race car track), but they say no. They end up using her father, who used to take care of Lilly when she was a baby until she went to preschool and he went to the race track and became a drunk.

Meanwhile, Ted and Victoria and Robyn and Nick are having a war on who has a more perfect significant other. Victoria is a slob and Nick is a crying girl. We learn soon that Ted breaks it off with Victoria in the near future.

How I met Your Mother: The Prenup

The couples are all together. Ted with Victoria, Robyn with Nick, Barney with Quinn and Lily, Marshall and Marvin. They get into a huge fight, so we re track why. It all starts with Barney wanting to give Quinn a prenup. Except this one is not standard and like 1 million pages long. All about pillow fights and lap dances and honka honka. Quinn is upset about it, but not as much as the couples. They all sit in bed discussing why Barney must be right and the girls get mad. Meanwhile, Quinn comes up with her own prenup that states things that make Barney upset too.

Lily is mad at Marshall for throwing their son in the air like a football. Back in Minnesota, this what the just do.

Ted invites Klaus to live with them, but he walks around naked and he asks him to move out and Victoria is upset.

Robyn likes to watch herself on the news while having sex with Nick and winks at herself. He gets turned on by this in the end.

All the couples are good to go? Except Quinn and Barney. He wont throw his prenup out and neither will she. Fast forward to Robyn coming to see him before their wedding and there is no prenup this time.

How I Met Your Mother: Season Premiere

Welcome back HIMYM fans! When we last left off, Ted was driving off with Victoria while she escaped her wedding. Barney proposed to Quinn and Marshall and Lily had their new baby, Marvin to tend to. We also saw a glimpse of Barney and Robyn's wedding in the future. Let's see how it all panned out, shall we?

We start with the wedding day and Ted is there to calm down Robyn. Marshall and Lily are trying to get Barney not to climb out the window. They are in a magical place called Far Hampton. Ted reminisces about being there before.

We go back to when Ted and Victoria are driving away. He reminds her she must leave a note for Klaus. Without that note from Stella, he would be lost. They drive back to the place and he has to sneak into the window. When he gets there, Klaus' sister is guarding the door. He gets Barney to distract her as he sneaks in leaves the note, but leaves his keys too. Now he must sneak back in and get the keys. While trying to sneak back in he runs into Klaus sneaking out. He talks to him and learns that Victoria is not his number one and when you find that girl, she is the one, not the one who is almost her. He goes back to steal the note back and his keys and fake cry on Klaus' note, so nobody is the wiser.

Back at home, Marshall and Lily are going through new parent's haze. Every time someone speaks to them they see water and hear nothing. Quinn asks the girls to be in her wedding and they agree. Barney reminds them not to say him and Robyn ever dated. They agree but are in a haze. During that time they let it slip and Quinn realizes she cannot marry Barney. Even though Robyn introduces them to her new boyfriend Nick, they are not satisfied. Barney gives Robyn the key to a storage unit with all of their stuff there. Cute!

At the end, we go back to the wedding and Ted at the Far Hampton train stop in the rain. We see his future wife stroll up with her yellow umbrella, but not face. By the end of this last season we will meet her, finally!! But who is she? Any thoughts?

How I met Your Mother: Season Finale

Marshall and Barney are still drunk in Atlantic City. He is trying anything he can to get to the birth of his son. Who Barney wants his middle name to be "wait for it". They finally get on a bus to Buffalo, where Marshall and the elderly people convince the driver to stop at the hospital.

Ted sends a labor announcement email and him and Robyn try to distract Lily by telling her lame stories. Robin compares this birth to the birth of a horse and gives Lily sugar cubes to calm her down. Hysterical. Her father ends up coming to the hospital, but after her 7 year old tonsil incident she sends him packing. Robin and Ted decide to be friends.

Marshall finally makes it and the birth of Marvin WAIT FOR IT Erickson occurs. Robin somehow convinces Ted that he should contact Victoria. She is the only one he ever truly loved. He calls her and she says she will come meet him. She does. In her wedding dress. She says she wants to drive away with him. He had a moment of conscious when he said he shouldn't be left at the altar, but then drives past the church holding hands with her.

from cbs.com

Barney is on his way to Hawaii with Quinn when he gets stopped at security for a big metal box in his luggage. Its magician's code so he doesn't tell them whats in it. They take them into the little room where he finally does the trick. The box opens up and explodes holding a flower that blooms with an engagement ring in it.

from cbs.com

Flash forward to the wedding we all saw in the beginning of the season. It shows Barney getting ready and the bride asking for Ted. Who is the bride you say? ROBYN.

How I met Your Mother: Lily in Labor

Lily and Marshall are counting down to labor. They have a shower and Ted and Robyn buy the same stroller, different color and come at different times to avoid one another. Marshall has been taking it a bit far. Lily devises a plan to make him think they are off to a baby seminar, but Barney really kidnaps him and takes him to Atlantic City to gamble. Barney asks him to turn off his phone and he agrees and gets wasted.

from cbs.com

Ted has been dating women as palette cleansers. Every time he does he meets a girl that morphs into Robyn. He is completely confused by this and finally gets a girl that he sleeps with and palette is cleansed.

Barney is starting to get upset that Quinn is a stripper and runs into her clients on the street. He fires a guy at his bank and hires her and she says no. She wants to be who she is.

While out drinking, Lily goes into labor leaving them 100's of messages. Barney finally turns on his phone and hears them. Will they get back in time?

How I Met Your Mother: My Girlfriend is a Stripper

Barney/Ted: Barney continuously brags about his girlfriend being a stripper, only for us to find out that he hates it. During those few hours she is gone dancing on top of other men, he is alone. So he wants every night to be legendary. He tries to make him and Ted be in a Mariachi band, bring a horse into a bar, add up points to see who is more awesome. Ted ends up trying to up his points by dressing in a dress and getting a girl's phone number. What an ugly girl he is! Ted is happy living alone and eating food in his underwear. We have all been there, being able to walk around naked. Haha. In the end though he texts Robyn.

from cbs.com

Robyn: She is trying to be famous, but the security guard doesn't know her, even though a huge picture of her hangs in the lobby. She ends up doing the weather in a helicopter. The pilot has a stroke and she has to land the helicopter to safety and does. She becomes famous over night and everybody loves her and calls her, even her dad (OK i will try harder).

Lilly/Marshall: Lily has a crazy sex dream and she turns the color of vermilion. Marshall shows the paint cards and how red vermilion actually is. He tries to see when she says hello to people how she gets and until they see Ronjit, she turns that color again. They are off to a fancy dinner and he is driving them. Funny scene with the partition going back up and down. He gets mad at her, has dinner without her and with Ronjit and then figures out she dreams about these people because they are good fathers.

How I Met Your Mother: The Trillogy

This actually started off super funny. Barney kept going outside his apartment at the same time every night and smiling. The man across the way thought he was a terrorist and was watching him like crazy. So much that his wife leaves him in the end to stay at her mother's. When he tells the gang about how great it is to live with Quinn, he tells them he needs to fart and keeps going outside to do so. Hysterical.

Here is where it gets a bit not so funny.....

Marshall and Ted decided in college to always watch the Star Wars trilogy every three years. They would imagine their lives three years later and think of these amazing scenarios. In one of them Marshall was a famous lawyer with a moustache and Lily was still pregnant and with jet black hair. Ted was married with his own firm and Barney was dating a different girl in each one. As they kept coming back to the real scenario, their lives had not panned out. We focus back on when Lily leaves Marshall, when Ted's business goes down and Barney still with another girl.

from cbs.com

As they finally get back to 2012, they talk about how it might be in 3 more years to watch it. Ted thinks he will be alone with tons of newspapers (hoarder) and calling the frozen dinner help line just to speak to someone. Marshall will be with his 5 kids on their boat with Lily and Robyn of course, Barney with another girl. They tell Ted this will not happen and Barney sweetly chimes in that he wants to be with Quinn in 3 years.

from cbs.com

Quinn and Barney end up doing it while she has the Star Wars suit on. She also admits she has been farting too on the patio. She squeezes him so tight he farts and they are truly a couple now! They are truly perfect for each other. They then flash to the real 3 years from now and they are still watching the movies, yet Ted brought his baby daughter with him. Super cute.

Will we ever find out who the mother is? Or will that make the show implode?

How I met Your Mother: Quinn-tervention

I have to say this episode was really amusing and fun. I am glad that the writers have not lost their touch. Let's begin, shall we?

Ted is talking about his apartment and what has happened since he moved out and let Marshall and Lily move back. He has been living in university housing across the hall from Ned, Milly and Martin (which Ned is Lucas from PLL) and Robyn has been living with her coworker Patrice (Stop smothering me Patrice! haha).

Barney makes Ted make a broath on a bible. He calls him by his full name, Ted Evelyn Moseby. Hysterical. No matter how many times he said Evelyn, I laughed each time. Like, what were Ted's parents thinking?! Haha. He tells Ted to swear not to tell the gang that Quinn is a stripper. They all go to Quinn's for a dinner party where she is bossing him around and calling him names and wont even let him go to the bathroom. They then tell them that they are moving in together and her cheap sublet is up for grabs. Immediately Robyn and Ted start fighting over it and want to get the apartment.

from cbs.com

In true HIMYM fashion, he tells them. They hold their usual intervention, except this one is Quinn-tervention. I love how Marshall makes them say that each time. They tell Barney its too soon and they don't trust her and in walks Quinn and she breaks up with him. They feel awful and try to go over and apologize to him. Meanwhile, Robyn and Ted have been trying to woo Quinn over to get the apartment. One brought a fruit basket while another a bottle of wine and credit scores.

Barney makes them all swear while wearing robes (after he tells Ted the story about Cesar and the broath and how it came to fruition with ninjas apparently). He makes Robyn and Lily kiss, which Lily likes too much and Ted and Marshall kiss. EW. Which Barney didn't realize they would do. Once they do that out pops Quinn. They flashback to the story of how Quinn and Barney thought this up to fool them. They even planned the fight over the apartment. In the end, the friends feel that they are perfect for each other and give their blessing, because in fact, they are going to move on. Super cute.

from cbs.com

In the middle of it all, Marshall has been telling sex stories about Lily, since he has never been with another girl. He finally tells one about a girl in high school and Lily gets upset. He then tells her that it was an accident and she tells him to lie about it next time. They are the cutest couple, I swear!

Ted and Robyn have a heart to heart that she lost her fiance, her apartment, her best friend and almost her job. She is supposed to get the five o'clock talk which means fired. He tells her they cant be friends again. She ends up having that talk, getting a promotion, taking a sweet apartment on Central park west and Ted will get Quinn's apartment. (Does this mean she will be a regular?) and they decide to be friends again.

How I Met Your Mother: Karma

Some big life changes on tonight's show, let's begin, shall we?

Ted: He is trying to figure out what to do with Robyn's now empty room. He starts smoke meat, then to make pottery and then furniture. He keeps picturing Robyn there next to him talking to him. All the stuff he makes collapses. I laugh as chair, coffee table and mug all break through. I will save his most momentous act until the end.

Lily/Marshall/Robyn: Robyn has no place to go so she moves into the spare bedroom with Lily and Marshall. Lily gives her a diary to write her thoughts in. Robyn takes Lily's by accident and reads about all the different ways she wants to kill her mother in law. Lily and Marshall take her to play canasta, eat at the diner where there are pictures of your food and make her wear a SNUGGET (read: snuggie) while eating tubs of Rocky Road and going to bed before 9:00pm. Robyn wants to get out so she plots her escape. They try to keep her there by washing all of her clothes and locking her in. After she plots to get out while they are at bingo, they read her diary and they catch her. They say how much they hate it there and how they wish their friend would stay. Again, I will leave their momentous thing till the end.

from cbs.com

Barney/Karma: Barney has been thinking about Quinn lately (Go Amanda!) and he goes to the strip club to get his mind off of her, yet she works there. She goes by the name Karma in stripper world. He tells her he wants to date her but she doesn't date customers. Instead, she tells him they should have their date there, since the manager is giving her the stink eye and every time he forks over more cash, the song ends and she tries to get him to give her more money. After a few times in the champagne room, he spends $900 and gives her his Rolex. He realizes he is getting played for a fool when he sees her doing the same bit with some other guy. He confronts her about it and realizes that Karma is a bitch! He runs into her while getting coffee and she offers to pay, well since he has no money and she has his watch. I smell a new couple brewing!

from cbs.com

The End....

Robyn comes over to get the rest of her things and she drinks coffee from one of his mugs. She realizes this was the best move for both of them. He calls Marshall and Lily over and they hop on the next train, only to find an empty apartment and a letter. (By the way, my husband and I were totally jealous of this HUGE two bedroom apartment in NYC, only on TV people, only on TV). The note says how their names were originally on the lease and they belong there. The second bedroom is a nursery he made, and of course the crib collapses, but still sweet. Where will Ted go? Are Marshall and Lily back in NYC for good? We hope so!

How I Met Your Mother: Long Term Bets

Right before this airs, I tell my husband, I hope we can find out who the mother is finally and we go back to the scene with the kids recapping about the yellow umbrella. It then reminds him to talk about what happened after he told Robyn he loves her.

He sits in bed, thinking of ways to get out of it. She is at his door and they make out. Weird, but it happens. She finds out she has to go to Russia for the national butter festival. They kiss goodbye and he is left thinking about what will happen next. He calls up Marshall to meet at the bar. It's open at 8am? Marshall is in bed with Lily and apparently Barney. He took the drunk train and slept in their bed. She leaves to go meet Marshall and Ted at the bar and reminds Barney there is no sex tape.

from cbs.com

He calls in his team of cleaning ladies to find it. He finds a lock box called Long Term bets that say things like "Robyn will never return the hairdryer", "Ted will go bald and he will rock it" and "Ted will not end up with Robyn". This makes Lily sway Ted to do things Robyn will hate like huge romantic gestures. After Barney confronts them about the box, Ted feels hurt that they are betting his life away. We flashback to scenes of Stella and Ted's almost wedding and Lily wants to end the bet, but Marshall says not yet. He is a big believer that Ted will end up with Robyn. Although, he tells his kids plenty of time about AUNT ROBYN. So I doubt it.

from cbs.com

Barney finds the sex tape and gets do deterred from watching that he breaks the tape and the VCR. Robyn comes back from her trip and after dinner with Ted at the blue French horn restaurant she tells him its not going to happen. They are better off as friends. Ted realizes that she loves Barney and learns of their tryst earlier in the season.

Marshall tells Robyn to move out and she does so. This gives Ted the courage to get over Robyn and start looking for his wife. We see him walk in a sea of yellow umbrellas and maybe now we can learn the true identity of the mother!!

How I Met Your Mother: Drunk Train

I love how the past few days it has been Valentine's Day in TV Land. Even the HIMYM crew are affected by it. Let's see how.

They are at the bar feeling Lily's belly kick. Ted and Barney are recapping their night of being eachother's wing men. Ted spent most of the night trying to pick up a girl by all of the normal cliches. He asked about small dumb things that didn't matter. By the end of the night the girl told him she felt like they were such good friends, she didn't want to ruin it with meaningless sex.

Meanwhile, Barney had been trying to pick up this girl Quinn all night and she wasnt having it. Played brilliantly by Becki Newton (Amanda from Ugly Betty, gosh I miss that show) she ended up sleeping with him anyways after describing in detail how sad Barney's life really was. "Do you practice the dark arts?". In the end she is really a stripper at Barney's favorite strip club. She is into him and he is into her.

from cbs.com

Barney and Ted ride the LIRR or what they call the drunk train. All of the bridge and tunnel crowd ride this last train out of the city and are completely drunk and vulnerable. After a bunch of slaps and drinks thrown in their face by these trashy, Guido girls "What you think you're better than me?". Barney and Ted try to make an equation that will get them laid on it. They come up with GET DRUNK when all the variables line up. They get drunk and the girls love them, but Barney is too into Quinn.

from ew.com

Meanwhile, Lily and Marshall and Robyn and Kevin are going away for the weekend. While they are there, Lily and Marshall talk about how to make a successful relationship last. They cannot focus on old fights or keep score. They decide to work together as a team since they are having a baby. Dream sequence to 8 months later where the baby is crying and Lily says "Its your turn, hope its a soupy one!" hahaha.

Kevin decides to propose to Robyn. She doesn't know what to say, so she asks to think about it. She ends up telling Lily and Marshall after being told not to. They let it slip while ordering onion rings, saying I do and other random funny stuff. She tells Lily and Marshall she cant have kids and that is why she is hesitant. She ends up telling Kevin and he says he does not care and proposes over and over again. He tells her that his mom picked out the date, the venue and the florist and his aunt will be singing.

Robyn tells him again that not only can she NOT have kids she doesn't want them. Now he is not sure and he breaks off the engagement. She goes up to the roof to have a smoke and up comes Ted. They talk about what happened and he consoles her. She then asks him who would ever want to be with her knowing this and he says "I would. Robyn I love you" BOMB DROPPED. Really?

I was not happy with Ted's confession. We all know that Robyn is Barney's and that throughout the season he tells his future kids about AUNT Robyn. What are they trying to do here CBS? Who do you think Robyn should end up with?

How I Met Your Mother: 5 Minutes

HIMYM always breaks up their episodes, whether by view of character, time of day or in this case parts of the house. Within a 5 minute timer (of heating up stolen kugel) something went wrong in every part of the house. It is Lily and Marshall's housewarming party. They have already warned her dad that he will ruin it and he promises not to, although he has decided to cultivate 10,000 bees in the basement to make organic honey. She decides to order a fancy Gouda off the internet and Marshall finally has a night off. Let's begin, shall we?

Living Room

Robin and Ted are in a huge fight over a kugel from Zabars. Robin was to cook, but she cant, so she stole the last kugel from a 90 year old woman. Mr. Koots (Marshall's boss and Martin Short) tells Marshall that they need to leave in 45 minutes to go back to work. Lily swoops in and tells him that there are vegan egg rolls just for him in the dining room. She then asks her dad to get the wine from the basement of bees. He puts on the beekeeper suit and heads off. Mr. Koots comes in and starts screaming at Ted for eating all of the vegan spring rolls "you could've had anything on that table. The mini pizzas, the bacon wrapped figs" he screams and then Ted gets angry and starts to argue with him. Barney is telling Robin how much he loves his junk and calls it a she. He said all good things are called her, cars, boats, penis. Marshall brings in the gouda and Lily drops it on the floor and kicks it dead. Just then a man in a bee suit is in flames and runs through the living room and out the door. End Scene. Super confused? Yes, me too.

Dining Room

We find out that Barney is the spring roll eater as he downs about 20 of them. He is hitting on their neighbor and tells her they should meet in the guest room in a few minutes. He then tells Mr. Koots that Ted is the one who ate all the spring rolls. A scream comes from the kitchen and Barney runs out to say everything is ok. Lily's dad comes up from the basement with the wine and smells like Kerosene. He doused himself in it.

from cbs.com

The Kitchen

Ted and Robin talk about the Kugel. This is probably the only funny part. She talks about how the 90 year old woman was a slut because she wore too much makeup. Ted tells her she doesn't need to be so assertive with everyone. Where is Kevin in all of this? Lily is telling Barney in the kitchen about her neighbor who went crazy and cut off a guys junk with a cheese knife when he didn't call her back after they had sex. Barney is super freaked out. Marshall tells Mr. Koots he will not be returning back to the office and that he needs to lighten up and have a beer. Lily's dad says why not take up beekeeping? And he decided to don the suit. Two mice crawl on the gouda and it falls to the floor. Marshall puts it on the plate anyways. Just then the timer goes off. DING. Mr. Koots tries to get the kugel but because of the kerosene soaked suit, he goes up in flames, runs through the dining room, living room and then out the door to roll in the snow to extinguish the fire. He then tells Marshall that he wants a beer and they will not be going back to work. Just then the bees are all over the house and they do not go back inside.

After the credits

Barney just slept with the neighbor upstairs. He tries to do the dip, but the hoards of bees are outside the door. He makes a run for it anyway and we hear him scream in horror.

I have to say this episode was not my favorite. I think that the breaking up the episode tactic is fine as long as it is super funny.I hope that they start picking into more of the drama between lovers and we get to meet baby Erickson super soon! Don't you?

Stripper Lily and New Marshall

The booth is more empty than usual. Lily and Marshall have decided to live full time in their house in Long Island. Barney decides this is awesome, because now he is the leader of the gang. He even changes the opening credits to "How I met your Barney" and changes the them song, ba bap ba da.

from cbs.com

He decides to take them to his favorite strip club to hang out with stripper Lily who has a boyfriend, who they dub new Marshall. They decide to go on adventures with them and even place them into the credits. They go to a poker game in an insane asylum where Ted wins all their chippies (as he sings "we built chip city") and makes them super mad after he piles his winnings into a building shaped contraption. They then are told they are going to a Yankees/Coke party where the fee is $100 each and they oblige. They really get ripped off by the Russian duo.

There is a side story about Kevin and Robyn and how they are still in that stage where they say yes to everything. They get caught in these awkward "SOOOOO" moments and almost give in to everything. They discuss this and end up nixing the high-fives and saying yes to all.

Meanwhile in Long Island, Lily's dad (who I will never stop referring to as Woogie from There's something about Mary) is staying with them and being a nuisance. He used to live in that house so he points out all the dos and donts of the house. He even mentions how he watched the widow next door undress when he was younger. Fast forward to the end where she dies of a heart attack, oops.

The lights go out and after being yelled at by Marshall, he refuses to help them find the fuse box in the basement. He finally helps and comes to the rescue and makes pancakes for them. Marshall and Lily wakes up to a surprise, the gang is here, since they have spare keys and they are all together, in the booth in their suburban kitchen.

Just an EH OK episode, you know. I was liking the deeper ones for a while there!
